About BÆM

The Bristol Applied Economics Meetings (BÆM) are a series of independent workshops organised by the University of Bristol’s School of Economics to bring together leading applied economists from Europe and beyond.

Each May, BÆM hosts workshops on different themes. Past editions have covered development economics; gender, diversity, and human capital; economic policy; access to higher education; the economics of migration; and fairness in the economy.
